Database Monitoring
Hi,
Is it possible to create DB users on the DB you wish to monitor that only have read access to the required tables? Your documentation always suggests using a System administrator or owner; however, I'd rather have a separate user that can only access the performance data your application requires.
Is this possible? Do you have a list of the tables for each DB that are required? I'm really only interested in MS SQL and DB2 (AIX).
