I am running some ad hoc queries through an ODBC connection to the OpManagerDB but am having difficulty understanding the data that is being captured in a few of the tables. The Performance Database Schema developer guide I found on your site does not address these questions.
1) Is there a lookup table for the Val captured in the statsdata% table? Looking at one device for today, the Val during the poll time changes from 8 to 126 to 207 to 152, etc. Which value indicates the device is up vs. down?
2) In availability_stats, how is downtime and uptime calculated? I was under the impression is was an accumulated time for the day but the statistics today do not match what we're viewing through the web interface for "Today's Availability". So, how do I derive "Today's Availability" from the availability_stats and/or statsdata% tables?
