Hello 

Recently, I approved and deployed the following update:

Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise - en-us 16.0.20131.20154

However, when the automated deployment policy ran, it not only updated Microsoft 365 Apps but also installed:

Microsoft Visio - en-us 16.0.20131.20154

This was unexpected, as I only intended to deploy updates for Microsoft 365 Apps and did not want Visio to be installed on devices where it was not already present.

Could you please advise:

1. How can I customize Microsoft 365 Apps patch deployments to ensure that only the Office applications I want are installed or updated?
2. Is there a way to exclude Visio (and potentially other Office products) from being installed during automated deployment?
3. Are there specific Automated Patch Deployment or Office 365 deployment settings that control which Office products are included?
4. How can I prevent new Office products from being installed while still allowing existing Office applications to receive updates?

Any guidance or best practices for configuring Office 365 patching in Endpoint Central would be appreciated.
