Currently widgets cannot be customized to remove or add fields. For instance we would love to use the CCTV feature to show our users what is going on in IT. However we can't remove or change the way server names are displayed in the existing widgets. This is important because:

 

1. We don't want to reveal the host names of our servers to users for security reasons but its important to IT to use the host names in OpManager for monitoring.

 

2. The hostnames would make no sense to most users anyways. For example, we have a reports server called "ComBOXI22" - while that makes perfect sense to IT, the users would have no idea that because ComBOXI22 is running at 100% uptime, they've had no interuption in reporting.

 

If we could rename the server in some other field and display it as "Report Server" that would be great. Even if we could list the services by Business View without revealing the server name, that would be helpful.

 

We are able to change the Device Name in Business View > Map but this is useless to us as we can't show any other data in the map aside from the icon.
