"The minimum password age is 7"

"The maximum password age is 180"

"Domain password complexity is enabled"

And so on. The list is confusing to novice users who often times do not understand what information it is trying to give them.

We would like the ability to customize the GINA/Mac unlock/reset screens to be more user friendly, or to contain information which we feel would be more helpful to some of our more novice users. IE :

"Passwords must have 8 to 20 characters."

"Passwords must contain 3 of the following : Uppercase Letters, Lowercase Letters, Numbers, Symbols"

"Passwords should not contain spaces or any part of your username"

etc.

This would make the password requirements much, much easier for novice users to understand and help reduce the number of support calls asking why it won't accept their new password.
