Customising the login screen?

Customising the login screen?

Hi,

I am a web developer and recently i have been approached by an IT company looking for a website with a service support system in place for there existing clients. After a long research, i came across your product and introduce it to them. So far they have evaluated your product and is very please with every aspect of it which was great news for me as well, as i can now concentrate on designing a website which will also kind of act as the frontend to your ServiceDesk Plus product.

The website i proposed to my client would be:

1. To have a hyperlink from the website to SDP login screen for his client to login.

or

2. To have the SDP login on the website so clients can just login from the website without having to click a link to the SDP login screen.

or

3. To be able to customise the login screen to better integrate SDP with the look and feel of the website.

Option 1 is easy enough to implenment as it does not require any modification of SDP. Just a simple hyperlink to the SDP login screen.

If my client chooses option 2 would there be a way of putting the login screen on the website? And what would be the restrictions imposed on doing such a thing for both free and professional version?

If client chooses option 3 is it possible to customise the login screen so that it would look and feel like part of the webiste i proposed to my client but keeping all your copyright notices and logo intact. What would be the restriction imposed on doing such a thing for both free and professional version?

Also, my client would very much like to add their own company logo to the login screen and main screen keeping all your copyright notices and your own logo intact. Is this possible?

I will be starting work on their new website within a week, so i need to know asap because if none of the options above are possible then we may need to find another solution. Even though we are very keen on your SDP but we also want to make the website and SDP like one product as a whole. Once the clients log in to the SDP, it really doesn't matter what it looks as the functionality and usability is of more importance to our clients than the look and feel and we believe SDP can deliver.

Thank you,

Paul
