custom monitor emc ax100. Possible?

I'm trying to configure custom monitors for an EMS ax100 storage device.
When I look in the web based management page for the AX100 I can see that it uses a MIB called fibre alliance. I downloaded that mib and I tried to use the stand alone mibbrowser to see if I could read some data from the device. All I receive is:

Sent get request to 192.168.0.50 : 161
Request Failed: Get Response PDU received from 192.168.0.50
Error Indication in response: There is no such variable name in this mib.
Errindex: 1

There is a possibility to enable snmp on the web management page of the device, of course I did that. Also you can configure traps for the device so I did that too. The traps are send and fetched by opmanager, so that works.

Are there people out there that got this to work? If so, I would like to know how.
