Custom graph for Total bandwidth usage

is this the right script for a custom graph

because the kbps for 1GB of bandwidth is set to 1000....should it be mbps and set to 1000??

I setup an alarm to notify me when the server reaches 95%.....but this script alerts me every 1min or so....
