Custom Devices in OpMan - Same system OIDs

We are currently running mostly HP DL360 servers with 2003 server. Most monitors we require work in Opman. However we run several different hardware versions of the DL360 which also use different MIB OIDs for the hardware but all use the same microsoft 2003 system OIDs. We really need to make several device templates for each hardware version but we are unable to create them properly as we can only have one associated with the microsoft 2003 OS OID. Is there any way to have more than one device template that shares the microsoft 2003 oid? Or is there another way to add hardware specific templates to groups without affecting the OS specific monitors? This is starting to become a real problem as we get more and more new servers using SAS drives in particular as they require different monitors to the older servers using SCSI. The only other option would be to add all monitors for all models into the one template which would get a bit messy.
Any ideas? :-)
