Custom Attributes, inheritance, availability to an action's custom program
1.) Is there a way to set a custom attribute on a monitor group?
2.) Have this attribute be inherited by all child monitor groups and monitors?
3.) Also this attribute to be overridden by all child monitor groups and monitors? Where the new value becomes inherited by all child monitor groups and monitors?
4.) And then access this attribute from the actions using my custom program such as:
drive:\path\to\scripts\myscript.bat "$MONITORNAME" "$MONITORGROUP" "$URL" "$RCAMESSAGE" "$SEVERITYASNUMBER" "$ATTRIBUTE" "$MYCUSTOMATTRIBUTE1" "$MYCUSTOMATTRIBUTE2" "$MYCUSTOMATTRIBUTEN" ?
