When setting up a Desktop Central server, you have the ability to import a CSV file with information. Problem is, the documentation is not clearly written and thus causes a lot of issues, errors and downtime.

When migrating information from one server to another (new server/new hardware), you should be able to export the IP scope and other information in the proper format.

So far, following the build in instructions form Desktop Central, i've yet to get anything to import and i won't manually import 1400+ computers, remote offices or ip scopes.

I already have a ticket open, but you would think that if you have the ability to import into the software, you would have had the option to export the required information.

Please look into making this a standard option.
