This weekend, I upgraded SDP from build 15120 to 15130. On the same vm host, we also run the "free" edition of Endpoint Central, which was also upgraded to the latest build.
Since completing this Friday night, we saw the ZULU / java.exe app consuming all CPU processes for 2 days. Last night (Sunday) I gave the VM 2 more virtual CPU's (total of 6) to stop all the alerts I was receiving. Java did not attach itself to the extra cpu's. Now, I am attempting to resolve what is consuming so much CPU. I shutdown the VM, removed the two extra CPU's from the VM, then started the VM. For 20 minutes the VM was a 100% CPU utilization. 70-80 % of that was used by a single java.exe instance. At the 20 minute mark of the system being up, CPU utilization dropped to a more reasonable 35-40% with an occasional spike.
Nothing has changed except upgrading SDP and Endpoint Central.
Anyone else see anything like this?
