CPU, Memory, Disk probes do not work

CPU, Memory, Disk probes do not work

When I click on "Troubleshoot..." here is the helpful message I get:

No Data Available - Possible reasons
1. The Performance monitors may not have been associated to this device.
2. Check if SNMP is enabled on this device.
3. If Yes, the Agent may not have responded to the SNMP request. Check if the Agent is responding using the Mib Browser.
4. If you have added a Telnet/SSH/WMI based performance monitor, check if the UserName and Password specified are correct.
5. If the device has just been added, wait for the first poll to happen.

1. I'm not sure what #1 is about. I have tried associating several different performance monitors to this device and none of them work.

2. SNMP is definitely enabled because it's already working with our HP SIM software, and I can use snmpwalk from my opmanager server to pull a ton of data.

3. I used the "MIB Browser" tool and was able to extract systemname from the target host. So obviously there is *something* going on.

4. I'd like to get SNMP monitors working first.

5. I have let this run all night and still no CPU, disk, or memory stats.

Please advise - why are the SNMP monitors not working?
