content caching on distribution servers
Hi Everybody,
I would like to clarify how content caching on distribution servers work.
We're running desktop central with distribution servers distributed across the WAN.
I have deployed a custom software package hosted on the default network share. The default network share is located within SITE A.
The package is then distributed to computers via the self-service portal.
SITE B has a distribution server.
If computers within SITE B install the package, will the local distribution server cache a copy of the package so other computers on site can install the package without copying the content over the WAN?
Regards
Kingsley
