I'm running ManageEngine SupportCenter Plus v7.7.0 and am trying to add a contact info field (under 'additional fields' tab) with a site ID, and would like this site ID to auto fill along with the rest of a person's contact details when I create a new 'Request'. Is there any way to add to the default fields like Name, E-Mail, and Twitter ID (would happily replace the twitter field if possible).
So just to reiterate.
I have a contact, with a name an email etc. I want to add a field for a Site ID for the user, and have this field's value reference from the 'contact additional info' page, to the 'new request' page, the same as the rest of their details.
Steps in order:
1: Click admin -> Contact Additional Fields -> Name the field Site ID -> save
2: Click contacts -> find the contact and open -> verify the field is saved (appears under 'Additional Contact Details')
3: Click requests -> new request -> enter the user's first name and allow the fields to populate -> hang head in disappointment that the new "Site ID" field is not present or populated.
I want this field to be available under all the contacts, this is not a case specific thing. It just takes 3-4 extra steps to track down the information normally and having a field that can be easily accessed with the rest of the contact information would be excellent.
