connecting to mysql for SDP on Linux
I have tried to connect to mysql of SDP7.0 using the following command:
/usr/local/AdventNet/ME/ServiceDesk/mysql/bin/mysqladmin -u root -P 33366 servicedesk
and received the following error:
/usr/local/AdventNet/ME/ServiceDesk/mysql/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)'
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: '/tmp/mysql.sock' exists!
