Hi everyone,
I am interested in testing the Failover feature in Applications Manager (APM) using a DEMO license. My goal is to set it up with a PostgreSQL database.
However, after following the configuration steps in the official manual, the primary server fails to start. It seems like the database credentials are failing to sync.
Here are the details of my setup and tests:
* Environment: Ubuntu Server 24.04.
* Authentication behavior: The primary server fails to launch using the standard database credentials.
* Test with 'trust' mode: The primary server only starts up when I set the PostgreSQL access method to 'trust'. However, when it starts, it launches with the restrictions of a secondary server.
I have retried the manual steps multiple times without success. Could you please help me with the following questions?
1. Is the Failover feature restricted or disabled in the DEMO/Trial license and only available for paid versions?
2. Is there an updated manual or guide for setting up Failover with PostgreSQL on Ubuntu 24?
Thanks in advance for your support!
