Hi everyone,

I am currently testing windows fast startup as notebooks start much faster when it is enabled. Problem: normal "shutdown" enters a state of hibernation, updates won't be processed unless explicit "restart".

I am deploying windows patches without notification or reboot warning to the users, users shut down their PC when leaving workplace so updates get processed then.

On my home PC I also am running windows fast startup and windows is showing me the option "update and shutdown" but this options seems to be missing when updates are deployed with endpoint central patch management.

Anyone having the same issue or knows how to configure that function properly? (I do not want to force an explicit shutdown or restart after deploying updates via deployment policies)
