I am a developer myself and I like a lot of the functionality from SupportCenter. But I also occasionally find missing features. In the beginning I request a lot of those functionality, but I found it takes a long time for these are being integrated (some still are not availble for over like 3 years). Now I can understand that certain functionality cannot be made or does not have a high priority since only a limited amount of programming capability is available.
But since I am a programmer myself at a certain point I'll manually create some of the functionality. So we have several systems next to support center running for additional functionality. Some of them send mail to support center to log information and such. Now I found there was an API but that can only be used by certain versions of the system.
But I was wondering isn't it smart to create a sort of plugin/market/community for Support Center (or other systems). I for instance use FireFox due to the plugins available for the system, not due to FireFox 'alone' is such a good product. The same goes for markets for android and Iphones. Many plugins/applications are made by the community and are very popular.
Maybe it is an idea to make some sort of community where other programmers can share/sell their plugins. I won't mind having to pay a small fee (between € 0 and € 50) for some additional functionality. Or sharing my code with others. And if ManageEngine takes like 20 percent per transaction I think it could also be profitable for you.
Just my 2 cents, let me know what you think about it.
