Cloned PMP server for testing the upgrade

We are running on a very old version of PMP and we are planning for an upgrade. We would like to test the upgrade prior to upgrading the production PMP servers.
We have cloned the primary PMP server, have removed the server from domain and gave a new IP address so that it is isolated from the production. I think the cloned PMP server is working as expected but when we check the HA settings it shows the production primary server as well as secondary server.
How can we change the Master host and Secondary host information so that it is completely different / isolated from the production environment. Are there any settings / config files to be updated.
I understand as per the upgrade documentation the secondary server needs a fresh copy of the installation but unless we isolate the cloned server from the production we cannot proceed as we think that it might break the production.
