client hardware defect move image to new hardware - which is the correct process

Hi,

we move the Windows 10 image to new hardware, because some little problems with hardware components.
Now, the computer is down in endpoint central und the last contact was before the changes.
What is the correct process for ongoing management without delete the computer in endpointcentral or it is not possible without deleting?
