Clear SNMP Trap Alarms
Hi all,
I'm currently evaluating OpManager ... and so far I really like it. But there's one thing that would really make things much easier:
Our firewalls are sending OpManager SNMP traps when a VPN tunnel goes down - so far this is working without problems. We're receiving these traps with the "Specific type" 3000 (the firewall uses this field to send its event ID) and a critical alarm is being generated.
The firewalls are also sending a trap when the VPN tunnel is up again (type 3002). Now when this trap is received by OpManager the alarm that's being generated by the last trap (type 3000) should be cleared.
In the properties for the trap processor I can select the severity "Clear" ... but how can I tell OpManager which alarm should be cleared?
