Hi

 

I have cleared all critical alarms for one device directly in the database using SQL script. replacing the value non equal to 5 in the severity field with value 5. In the alarm page in my console, it's well synchronized with my database so all alarm are cleared for that device.  But in the snapshot page of the same device in my console, still have a red X indicating that still there alarms for this device. How can I fix this issue ? I mean, if I clear all alarms for a device, in the snapshot page should have a green icon in device details section.

 

 

My concern is we want to clear alarms for a device when this device come back to network and is up and runnnig. Most of my devices have red X in the device details page and this is not a real picture of the production. I will create a script to change the severity filed in the ALERT table in the database.

 

I am asking myself if this is the best way to do it.
