CiscoSwitchMemoryUtilization for Catalyst 3750 switch
For whatever reason, OpManager is unable to properly identify my cat3750 switches. When I add the device, the app adds the device with type=unknown. I manually change this, but because the initial discovery was incorrect it doesn't create one graph that I would like associated with this device: CiscoSwitchMemoryUtilization. I only discovered this great graph because my Cat2960's are discovered properly as cisco switches and therefore this graph is added automatically. When I try changing to the correct device type and rediscovering, OpManager simply reverts back to type=unknown. I would think I could at least manually add this monitor, but for some reason it is not available in the list of available resource monitors. This leaves me with 2 questions:
1. how can i get opmanager to properly identify the cat3750's so I get this default graph?
2. why is this monitor nowhere to be found in the list of available monitors (under cisco) if it does in fact exist for my servers?
BTW, great work on OpManager. I trialed this about a year ago and had to stop using it because of the problems I had. I'm trying now and after I patch to most current patch level, the software performs much more consistently.
