Cisco Application Visibility and Control available in NetFlow Analyzer 9.8.6 Build 9865 (Beta)

Hi Folks,

We are glad to announce the release of NetFlow Analyzer 9.8.6 Build 9865(Beta) which supports Cisco Application Visibility and Control(AVC). We take this opportunity to thank all our customers and users for their feedback and the continued support.

What is AVC?

Cisco Application Visibility and Control is the combination of multiple technologies which found in the Cisco ASR 1000 series and Cisco Integrated Service router generation 2 (ISR G2). Cisco AVC allows network administrators to identify the application traffic utilization and its performance on their network. Administrator can define policies to derive maximum performance on their business-critical applications and control resource usage on the network.

Cisco AVC is capable of:

1. Providing better application visibility(NBAR2)
2. Monitoring network performance (ART and per flow QoS hierarchy and drops)
3. Managing the network in a better way
4. Providing better control on the network to the administrator

Supported IOS:-

Cisco ASR 1000 platform: IOS XE 3.4S or above

Cisco ISR G2 : IOS Release 15M&T

You can download NetFlow Analyzer beta version which supports Cisco AVC from here.

Note :-

The beta version is available only as fresh install, existing customer and evaluators running older version can not upgrade to this version.
