Cisco 3550 doesn't report much traffic

I have a small test network at home, I just started evaluating NFA 4.0 this evening, and I think I'm in love ... however my ws-c3550 doesn't have much to say for itself. I fired it up, got it exporting flows, and hooked a laptop to it to generate some traffic. I've pushed maybe a gigabyte through it and the reports just a few KB.

I recall from years ago on the cflowd mailing list that the routing engine makes initial decisions which result in flows, then the work is pushed to the ASIC level in the layer 3 switch fabric, and the processor loses visibility to what is happening and thusly doesn't report.

Is this still the case with the 3550 or is there some knob I can turn to make it report all that it is handling?
