[Changes reverted] Windows 11 Upgrade patches will no longer be listed under 'Missing Patches / Installed Patches / Applicable Patches' [If 'Optional Updates' in Patch DB Settings is enabled]

This forum post is to let you know that we have reverted the changes made earlier regarding the listing of Windows 11 Upgrade patches under Missing Patches / Installed Patches / Applicable Patches [If Optional Updates in Patch DB Settings is enabled].

With the changes being reverted, the Windows 11 Upgrade patches will no longer be listed under Missing Patches / Installed Patches / Applicable Patches if Optional Update in Patch DB Settings is enabled.
The patches will only be available in Supported Patches. If needed, users can deploy the patches from there.
To uninstall the updates and revert the system back to Windows 10:
- You can execute the below command DISM /Online /Initiate-OSUninstall /NoRestart /Quiet using DC script configuration and then reboot the system.
- You can either run this command in command prompt [with admin rights] in the affected machines manually, or just convert this command line to a bat file and deploy it to all the affected machines using
DC script configuration.

We have now released a new patch to revert the systems to Windows 10, which got upgraded to Windows 11 automatically.

This patch will be available in Supported Patches. You can deploy the patch from there to the affected machines.
Pre-requisites to download the patch:
- Optional Updates must be enabled in Patch DB Settings.
- Your current OS should be Windows 11.
- You can only downgrade to Windows 10 within 10 days from the date of upgrade.
(For example, if you upgraded to Windows 11 on 28 March 2022, then you can downgrade within the next 10 days)
- Previous Windows version files, typically Windows.old folder, and other required files should be present on your system.
If the above requirements are not met, you can’t downgrade to Windows 10.
