Changed passwords now problems

We used a third party application to reset many passwords in one swoop within active directory (ADManager). The next business day, many users were reporting locked accounts and needed to physically cut the power to their machines (a full reboot) to log back into thier machines. Outlook (in an Exchange environment) also did not sync the password and was set to offline mode (we had to respecify the password and uncheck Work Offline for Outlook to get back to "normal")

The next day when trying to REVERT using Active Directory (realizing the error of our ways), we encountered all kinds of problems. When trying to change the passwords, they either wouldn't take, would take but without the options (like not prompting for the user to change upon next logon, or would AGAIN require a reboot).

Has anyone else out there had such a bad experience with ADManager? Are there known issues with this program? Are there any fixes to this stuff?
