We have noticed in version 9.0 of ServiceDesk Plus (Enterprise) that Change Record 'Notifications' section appearance and behaviour has changed.
When a Status Action is chosen with a list of Change Role recipients for the associated automated notification, and the Change Role specified is populated with users in that Change Record, the notification is sent to the users.
The 'Notifications' section then displays an individual notification log for each user sent the notification (as if each were a unique message caused by a separate action) in the format:
<notification subject>
Sent by <"System" or user> On: <date and time>| To: <recipient>
Our users are already reporting that it is very overwhelming looking at the notification history when there are up to 50+ notification entries for only 4 Status Actions used (Status transitions) are listed. This may be fine for organizations who have only one or two users filling all the Change Roles, however, if you have a CAB of 15 people, notified twice during the workflow (i.e. when Approval stage is approved and when the Change Close comments are entered) then that is already 30 notifications.
