Change CI Type from Workstation to Windows Workstation?
Hi.
Most of our computers are currently logged in the asset-database as 'Windows Workstation', a subset of the CI Type 'Workstation'.
But a few of them have been logged as just 'Workstation' without the subset.
The example in the picture is ws0107 .
How can I make this asset logged as 'Workstation' change to 'Windows Workstation'?
I suspect the whole 'Windows Workstation' has come from being scanned, but this particular ws0107 is used in a place where there is no network-connection and thus can't be scanned so we have entered it manually.
The closest I've found is that I can do the action 'Modify Type' but then it prompts me for the product-kind which I, of course, still set as "HP Compaq dc7800p Small Form Factor" and nothing changes.
I figured I could try to set the product "HP Compaq dc7800p Small Form Factor" to be a 'Windows Workstation' but I can only set 'Workstation' and no subset in the Product List:
(also that would feel wrong since the specific product of course is not bound to always run Windows, it could also run Linux for example)
Any clues how to set a CI-type-subset on an individual asset?
