cctv views running for extended periods. error "something went wrong while displaying the page"
Good day,
I am running the CCTV View for Opmanager in Chrome and would like the app run for extended periods of time. The CCTV is connected to a laptop running windows 7 enterprise and the current version of chrome. This laptop is set to never turn off the monitors or hard drives, it also has the sleep and hibernate functions disabled.
After a day sometimes two days the app will give me the error in the CCTV browser window "Something went wrong while displaying the page"
What I am looking to do is find a way to reload the CCTV View page without user interaction. This t.v. is in a busy area and it is not beneficial to the department to dedicate employees to constantly restart the CCTV VIEW. There are times when we would like to restart the Opmanager app during our monthly down time and updating, but do not want to have to restart it every morning,
Is there a possibility of myself putting in something like as follows into the CCTV View:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content = "300">
This is in a header and would force a refresh about every 5 minutes. I would hope to achieve that if it were to disconnect the app would reconnect itself. This way the error page would be displayed a maximum of the 5 minutes.
I may be barking up the wrong tree and if I am please let me know so I may find some other solution to out CCTV needs,
