Hello

Does anyone know the ITIL way to use Categories. Should the requester select the category or should it be the Technician? I would have thought it should be the technician otherwise the cateogories will be wrong as the requestors do not always know what catogory the incident falls into. Also to use business roles which are specific to a category this would not be possible if we should let the requestor choose the category?
