Has anyone else experience this.  Below is the complain from one of my users:

I discovered that PAM would randomly set my keyboard to caps lock mode while I was attempting to telnet to a door controller. I was running a telnet session to the controller from the controller's server and using PAM to talk to the server.

What I observed was the caps lock mode would silently engage while I was in the middle of setting the root password. It happened several times which required factory resetting the controllers to regain control of them. At first I thought my keyboard had gone south on me and replaced the keyboard. The problem persisted until I telnetted directly to the controller and bypassed PAM.
