Cant start the service desk after a new installation
Hi there,
Im trying to install servicedesk to a new server which already has some websites on it (albite IIS ones) and has some kind of Microsoft sql server service running on it which was installed as part of the SQL Server 2000 report services (would it clash with MYSQL ??)
Anyway the page just will not load. There were no errors at all when I installed ServiceDesk.
When I go to wrapper.log this is what I see...
STATUS | wrapper | 2006/10/12 09:10:57 | ManageEngine ServiceDesk 4 installed.
STATUS | wrapper | 2006/10/12 09:12:19 | Starting the ManageEngine ServiceDesk 4 service...
STATUS | wrapper | 2006/10/12 09:12:20 | --> Wrapper Started as Service
STATUS | wrapper | 2006/10/12 09:12:20 | Launching a JVM...
INFO | jvm 1 | 2006/10/12 09:12:21 | TRYING TO STOP DB WITH COMMAND:::stopDB.bat ../mysql 33366 root
STATUS | wrapper | 2006/10/12 09:12:25 | ManageEngine ServiceDesk 4 started.
ERROR | wrapper | 2006/10/12 09:17:53 | The ManageEngine ServiceDesk 4 service is already running with status: RUNNING
ERROR | wrapper | 2006/10/12 09:38:06 | The ManageEngine ServiceDesk 4 service is already running with status: RUNNING
ERROR | wrapper | 2006/10/12 11:27:04 | The ManageEngine ServiceDesk 4 service is already running with status: RUNNING
The service is started in services.msc so I dont know why the page isnt loading.
Why is it doing this, it installed seemlessly on the old server which had nothing on it originally ?
At the moment Im thinking of installing servicedesk on its own server as so to get it working.
Thanks,
Jonathan.
