cant deploy patches

im trialing DesktopCentral and ive setup a very small scope of 1 PC. Im trying to deploy a patch to it, but without success :-( I get right through scanning the pc and getting the patch and creating a config, but thats where it goes wrong. It just sits with 'ready to execute' on the screen. Ive restarted the pc where im trying to install the patch several time and nothing happens :-(
could you enlighten me on what im missing
