Cannot connect to Exchange Server for incoming emails

We moved ServiceDesk (6010) to a new server by installing the application, applying licences, and migrating the database successfully.
Sending email to our Exchange Sever is not an issue.
Connecting to our Exchange Server returns the following message:

"FAILURE :Email Settings saved successfully. But error occured while trying to check connection with mail server - Problem connecting to mailbox. "

We have not changed any email settings at the Exchange Server, and the Login details on SDP are the same as the previous server settings.
