Can you add a device that is not reachable via ping or SNMP?
Hi all, I am trying to monitor systems that we have installed at customer locations. These systems are reachable only via SSH. I see that OpManager cang et CPU, memory, disk etc via SSH. However when I try and add a new deivce to be monitored it says the device cannot be added. Thei support says that because it is not reachable via ICMP ping or SNMP you cannot add the device. Any other ideas? I have been able to add devices by using an internal IP that can be pinged then changing hte IP afterwards but that is a pain.
