One of our customers asked a unexpected question the other day...

"Would it be possible to run the IT Operation servicedesk function within the Facilities & Operations instance?

We have tight cooperation between the IT teams and the Facilities teams running around in the buildings assisting with video conferencing, large screen conference room monitors, projectors and more. With the awkward possibilities today in SD+ to communicate efficiently between instances we think that if IT would also would be running within the Facilities & Operations instance it would simplify the processes of distributing work, sharing tickets, sending tasks between the 2 teams, and still allow Facilities & Operations to take advantage of the Spaces module. It looks as all is the same with the standard modules like Requests, Change, Release, Projects?"

Is this a good ide? Will it work or are there hidden functions that will not support IT operations within the Facilities & Operations instance? Has anybody tried it?
