Can't use email

Exception while trying to send notification for General ID : 3 Mail sending failed.

I have sent the logs from support menu once but this is the error I get in my mail above.
It only says in the dialog box that sending notification failed. I can't get this to work with any email account company or private.
I have tried installed on a 2 different windows 2000 severs and 1 windows XP Professional box same failure.
I run McAfee Antivirus Scan Enterprise 8.0 and 7.0
I would buy this product but I don't want to buy it if the mail potrtion won't work. I can receive just find.
