Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket ...

I'm evaluating the Applications Manager, and yesterday my server, where I have installed the ApManager falls down.

I'm trying to start the service but it give me this error:

[root@itdev AppManager7]# ./startApplicationsManager.sh
This evaluation copy is valid for 15 days
./bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/opt/AdventNet/ME/AppManager7/working/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)'
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: '/opt/AdventNet/ME/AppManager7/working/mysql/mysql.sock' exists!

Let me know if you need any thing else.
