can't add a active directory monitor

Hello

we want to use the active directory monitor, but when i add a new monitor, i don't see the active directory monitor to choose from?, do i need to change some settings or so?

we are using
Applications Manager 8/License Information
Product Applications Manager 8
Build Number 8501
