We provide managed services for at least 30 different accounts, and often (at least twice a week or more) we have the same task to perform across all (or at least most) of these accounts. A prime example would be applying a patch to a Blackberry Enterprise Server. The end users don't enter these maintenance requests - we do it on behalf of the clients. So right now, we have to manually enter a support request for every single account for every single maintenance task, which is very time consuming (even when cutting and pasting request description).
We are wondering if it is possible to either do a bulk import of a service request across multiple accounts using the web interface, or if we can even just do a SQL script in the back end to create the request and apply to the accounts.
If a bulk import is not currently possible, consider this an enhancement request. Ideally, I would perhaps the best way to implement this would to use a check box list of the all accounts (or contacts would probably be better) you wish to apply the request to, and when you click create, it would create the requests sequentially using aphetical order of the contacts names that the request has been picked to be assigned to.
Also, if a bulk import is not currently possible, can you please try to provide me a SQL script to do this with asap?
Thanks
