I'm publishing this in the Forum so others can see this bug.
I wonder why I can't find the your notified issue ID SD-58519 not in the known issue list.
It's annoying that this issue isn't solved yet.
As you can see futher down:
Situation two doesn’t work:
I write text
and place a small picture of a screen shot into the Resolution Tab and Update request status to Resolved. Klick on Save
à The Resolution is saved
but the status is still open.
I have to edit the Resolution and change the Update request status to Resolved again. This time the status is going to change to Resolved.

The scenario the we have discussed has been identified as an issue. Here is the Issue ID for reference SD-58519. This will be fixed in the future hotfixes.

I found a bug in Service Desk Plus. (I have the newest build installed 9.1/9114)
Following to situations:
Situation one works fine:
I write text in the Resolution Tab of a request and choose Update request status to Resolved. Klick on Save
à The status of the request changes to Resolved
Situation two doesn’t work:
I write text
and place a small picture of a screen shot into the Resolution Tab and Update request status to Resolved. Klick on Save
à The Resolution is saved
but the status is still open.
I have to edit the Resolution and change the Update request status to Resolved again. This time the status is going to change to Resolved.
Could you please fix that.
