Bug? Alarm Escalation Rules
In the Alarm Escalation Rules editor, the category have server, printer, switch, router
& any. Miss matching the category provided in "Infrastructure Views" ( Servers,
Routers, Firewalls, Switches,Printers, Desktops, URL) which is the default container
for admin to add devices. Thus it is a bug.
In general/to be consistent, the category should contain items in every view provided
by OpManger. That is, it should have items listed under Infrastructure Views, Business
Views, and Network Views. Especially the items under Business Views--effectively it
enable us to group anything together to have one common rule set.
Of cause, the ability to combine a few category together will make the rule set simple,
like the "any" category provided today. For that, you need to change the select list to
a list of check boxes.
