After upgrading from 14306 to 14500 ServiceDesk Plus version we've noticed that we cannot search requests with a global search,  "Search across"  and "Requests" -> "Default search" options do not give any search result.

However, option "Requests" -> "Resolution" in Global search - works.

And we still can search with "Advanced filter".

We've tried to reindex database with ReIndex.bat, with no success.

In a 14500 readme - Behavior changes there are:

SDF-31871, SDF-70864 : Global Search Enhancements

Search Across in the global search allows users to search for information across modules and view the results in one place.

 

Could it be that this "enhancement" broke the global search?

How to fix it?
