Afternoon Everyone!
Okay, I am brand new to Desktop Central 8, and I am having a bit of trouble getting the Remote Control / Remote View to work on computers that are in our other offices outside of this network.
I have no trouble at all using the software to connect to machines within the LAN (the agents were installed through the AD server using my AD admin account).
One thing that I noticed is that whenever I create the agent for the remote offices, it is showing the IP address of the server as 192.168.xxx.xxx. (replace X's with internal IP address of the server). This cannot be correct can it? I imagine that the IP address in that field, when it comes to remote agents, would need to be the WAN ip address, correct or no? We are behind a Sonicwall, and I have the ports open that Desktop Central uses.
Maybe i'm not doing something right? I've exhausted the resources on the site, looked through all of the setup guides, etc., I just can't get the remote feature to work, which is what I want it for anyway XD.
