We recently decided to deploy BitLocker through DC, however on a large number of devices with BitLocker already enabled locally, when users started up their laptops they would be presented with the BitLocker recovery screen.

However the key for each device would not do anything when entered into the recovery screen. Instead this had to be decrypted manually through the command prompt in Windows Recovery.

Through DC we pushed BitLocker out using the default settings.

Will we have to manually decrypt any BitLocker devices manually and then push out BitLocker from DC to avoid this issue in the future?
