Managing customer-specific cloud pricing often requires manual calculations outside the platform. This makes it difficult to apply consistent pricing, accommodate different customer agreements, and maintain visibility into both actual and billed costs. As a result, pricing management becomes time-consuming and error-prone.

To address this, we've introduced Billing Rules in CloudSpend. Billing Rules let MSP administrators configure margin, markup, and discount rules that adjust cloud costs for AWS, Azure, and GCP customer accounts. While customers see only the adjusted costs across CloudSpend, MSP administrators retain visibility into both the original and adjusted costs for accurate internal reporting.

Billing Rules provide you with the following benefits:
  1. Configure reusable pricing profiles using margin, markup, and discount rules.
  2. Apply multiple pricing rules using Basic or Compounding calculation modes.
  3. Assign pricing rules to specific customers, accounts, or tagged resources.
