Best practice for worklog time?

My company is brand new to ManageEngine and I wanted to know what some here would consider a best practice for the time keeping for worklog for issues/problems/projects.

Situation
2 engineers troubleshoot an issue and resolve it. Total time spent is 2 hours.

Since there are 2 engineers working, the total time spent on this problem is 4 hours. However, since they both did the same thing, if only one person logs the hours with a worklog comment, then it will show 1 engineer spending 4 hours of work that day and the other not spending any time at all on that issue.

If They both comment the same thing, but put their hours, then I will have a duplicate in the worklog that doesn't seem efficient.

Any suggestions on what people do in a situation like this?
