We currently use DesktopCentral for patching and misc support tasks, but I would really like to start using it for inventory management. Unfortunately this is really difficult without some easy way of being able to pull up a devices information. 

Could you tell me if DesktopCentral has any support for Barcodes or QR codes?

One idea I was going to try as simple using a QR code that opened up the DesktopCentral search URL with the devices name, unfortunately though, this won't work because the DesktopCentral only appears to accept POST requests for searching. 

Also as a side note, we also use ServiceDesk+ (as part of IT360) which we integrate with DesktopCentral.
